Junior Leaders Program

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Kids Community Learning Center!

We welcome volunteers who are looking for an enriching experience working with kids from diverse backgrounds in an amazing community. Kids Community offers a variety of volunteer opportunities in our program including:

Academic Assistance
Enrichment or Club Leaders
Reading Buddies
Special Projects

Requirements for volunteering at KCLC

• Current Background Check

• Food Handlers Card

Current CPR and First Aid training is recommended, but not required. KCLC provides this training to all staff members once a year.

The Junior Leader program is designed to provide youth leadership opportunities and build job skills.  Youth ages 14-17 will work as part of the KCLC team to provide well rounded care and programming to school age kids.

Requirements for Junior Leaders Program

• Must be at least 14 years of age

• Must have some experience working with younger children
